Social Media

Hi,  I am the Social Media Chair for KAPN. As an APRN, I am passionate about using focused health and wellness best practices to inform and educate patients to improve their health.  I am passionate about health policy, advocacy and helping other APRNS learn about health policy.  I am a doctoral student enrolled at KUMC SON in their post MSN to DNP Advanced Practice track, and plan to graduate in the May of 2023.   I work part time at The University of Kansas Health System as an Education Specialist and help faciliate nursing orientation and BLS/ACLS classes.  I am an active member in the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and Sigma Theta Tau. Outside of work, I enjoy running, photography, family time and walking my labradoodle Daisey.
