Advanced Practice Registered Nurse New

Busy Neurosurgery practice seeking APRN.  Obtains history, performs physical exams, evaluates and treats patients, performs rounding duties at several different Wichita hospitals, orders/interprets diagnostic and therapeutic tests, and acts as an assist to the neurosurgeon during surgery.  Monitors the effectiveness of interventions, assists with patient education, and prescribes appropriate medications.   Computer skills and ability to document appropriately utilizing an electronic medical record required.  Exceptional communication, interpersonal skills and ability to work closely with the healthcare team consisting of nurses, medical assistants and other providers is necessary.
