HB 2279 - One More Step to the Finish Line
The Governor has 10 days to sign a bill from the date she receives the bill. Her options are to sign the bill, not sign the bill and it becomes law after the 10 days or she can veto the bill.
KAPN is urging all colleagues to send a message or call Governor Kelly to urge support of HB 2279. Numbers of messages can be influential, so we are asking for immediate messaging to the Governor’s office. Send messages now. We want her to hear urgently from as many as possible.
Tell your story and ask for support of HB 2279. Remind her that this bill will increase APRNs practicing in Kansas, providing access to healthcare in rural communities and are more apt to care for the underserved.
