A Message from KAPN President Amy Siple

Fellow APRNs,

This Good Friday is a landmark event for Kansas APRNs and the clients we serve. Governor Kelly signed our bill into law making Kansas the 26th state to gain full practice authority. The law will go into effect on July 1, 2023. We will be releasing a frequently asked questions document soon that will help you understand how this law will affect you and your practice. We would not be celebrating this joyous occasion without everyone's individual effort. Thank you for engaging in this process. The calls and emails you made to your representatives made a difference. Your membership and donations to KAPN allowed us to support the efforts of our lobbyists. Your commitment to excellent patient care was evident and your patients advocated for us as a result. KAPN wants to thank you for your engagement and offer our sincere congratulations!
